Welcome to New 2011 Art from Tom Babbitt. Art can be ordered by calling the number above or sending an email to the address given.

Tom is a 52 year old, "pursuer of many arts." He is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/arranger (Honorable Mention for two songs in the 14th Annual Billboard WORLD Songwriting Contest); He has worked as a Senior Art Director/Graphic Designer, graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art; He is a fully licensed Psychotherapist in private practice; He has designed and prototyped clocks, furniture; he is a builder and amateur carpenter; and he's a cartoonist. Tom's mom is a noted children's book author and illustrator (Natalie Babbitt of "Tuck Everlasting" fame), and father is a full-time actor (The GAMM Theater Company in Providence, RI).

And he likes crossword puzzles, which can be frustrating, right? So Tom would get to the end of each puzzle (by cheating or earning it) and give himself a “reward” for slogging through the ordeal... Doodles got doodled in the corners of a crossword page, revealing unbridled Id, little crazy friends.

Now they’ve been blown up. And played with. And “manipulated...” Now they’re on canvas (actually wood) - coming to life in a new way. Hope you enjoy them.
