You've no doubt heard of the World Wide Web? Well, when I came up as a designer, my school (Mass College of Art) had NO computers! I obtained my own Mac and learned it, which gave me a real edge... Amazing when you think of it. Anyway, I learned all things PRINT—there simply WAS no "Web" really. When all Art Departments began to HAVE to address their client's Internet presence, we all had to radically change our orientation: from "paper" to "plastic" (computer screens). I'm still playing catch-up - but it's fun. But, this explains why
